Faith Formation
Classes for the year have started!
We're excited to be back together and growing in our faith.
A special thank you to our catechists who give their time to teach our young people.

Our 3rd-5th grade class is large enough that it can be split into two sections if someone is interested in being a catechist. Both sections will use the same curriculum and can do the same activities. Contact Jenny if interested.
Help Wanted!
We are in need of substitute catechists. Without substitutes, we may need to cancel classes for some grades if a teacher is unable to make it. Please contact Jenny to be put on the list, even if it's only for certain grade levels.
Sept - Oct. Schedule
The schedule for the entire year can be found here.
Sept. 30 - 6:30-7:30pm, regular classes for grades k-10 at St. Marcus
Oct. 7 - 6:30-8:00pm, Revive at MOTV for MS and HS students
6:30-7:30pm, classes at St. Marcus for grades k-2, take home activities for grades 3-5.
Oct. 14 - No Classes, MEA
Oct. 21 - 6:30-7:30pm, regular classes for grades k-10 at St. Marcus
Oct. 28 - 6:30-7:30pm, regular classes for grades k-10 at St. Marcus
New Student Registration Form 2026-27
New students who are interested in joining faith formation at St. Marcus next year can download and fill out the registration form here. Current students do not need to fill out another form. Simply contact Jenny and let her know that your family will continue to attend classes next year.
Registration fees are $25/student, with a maximum of $75/family.
According to the National Directory for Catechesis, “Faith must be known, celebrated,
lived and expressed in prayer. So catechesis comprises six fundamental tasks, each of
which is related to an aspect of faith in Christ....”
- Faith formation promotes knowledge of the faith.
- Faith formation promotes knowledge of the meaning of the Liturgy and the Sacraments.
- Faith formation promotes moral formation in Jesus Christ.
- Faith formation teaches the Christian how to pray with Christ.
- Faith formation prepares the Christian to live in community and to participate actively in the Life and mission of the Church.
- Faith formation promotes a missionary spirit that prepares the faithful to be present as Christians in society.

Our program strives to accomplish all 6 of these tasks in each of our classes throughout the
year.
